Tips As Owner of Verizon Family Plan

It is suggested that you accepts a new member into a family plan only if they already own a single-line Verizon account.

  1. It saves you tons of effort educating people, e.g., prices, deals, different plans, Verizon vs other phone carriers, etc.

  2. A person with a single-line Verizon plan has already made their commitment. They likely have alrady purchased new phone and sort out trade-in, so there's minimum effort needed from the account owner.

  3. Port in a line from another phone carrier and dealing with purchase and trade-ins at the same can be complicated, time-consuming and error-prone. If not done carefully or if the customer representative is not skilled, it messes up things waste you days of time. On the contratry, an existing single-line account can initiate a transfer request into another Verizon account online and all needed from the owner of the in-bound account is to accept the request. This is easy and less error-prone.
